Special Sunday Art Exploration (ages 6-11) 11:00a-12:30p

Join us as we find inspiration within our gallery from the work of Purvis Young. Each week we will be painting using shape and color to share imagery from our own lives and surroundings.  Students will explore pushing paint to create works both large and small.

Offered on select Sundays from 1-2 PM for up to 1 hour for children ages 3-7 (must be potty trained).

Register your child for an hour of Academy Art Studio time while you enjoy our exhibition. Parents must sign in, stay on-site, and provide a cell phone number so we may contact you during this time.

Fridays from 6:30p-8p for middle school - high school students at all artistic levels.

Looking for a fun and creative way to spend your Friday night? Join us at MoCA for a fun filled paint night where you will spend the evening painting, socializing, and getting creative! This class is available for middle school through high school students. 

Looking for something creative for your child to do during school recess break? Drop off your Nursery - Kindergartener from 9:30a - 11:30a for two hours of artsy fun! Pack a nut-free snack, and a water bottle and dress in clothing you won't mind getting messy!

Intro to Studio Art (Ages 8-12)  Tuesdays from 5:00-6:30 

Join us in learning the basics of the studio. During this course, students will have the opportunity to explore various drawing mediums such as charcoal and pastel. They will develop their skills in drawing from observation by learning to see and understand light, tone and scale.
