Autumn Toddler Tuesdays

Offered to toddlers aged 18-24 months and their parent/ caregivers. Spend the morning with your toddler and one of our certified instructors every Tuesday 8:30a-9:15a. Class will be held under the tent outdoors (weather permitting) and will may be brought indoors when it becomes too cold to hold outdoors.
Introducing young children to art as creators and observers opens the door to self expression and creativity. The act of producing art assists toddlers in developing fine motor skills. Holding a paintbrush so that it will make the desired marks, snipping paper with scissors into definite shapes, drawing with a crayon, or squeezing glue from a bottle in a controlled manner; all help develop a child’s fine motor skills.

Mini MoCA Learning Lab & Art Adventures Thursdays 2:15p - 3:30p
Blending emerging literacy and math skills with artistic adventures - children in grades Nursery to Pre-K enjoy an hour at MoCA Westport with our certified instructors engaged in creative pursuits with an emphasis on emerging literacy and art enrichment. This is a drop off class so students must be fully potty trained.

Enjoy Fridays from 9:30a- 10:15 with your baby! Offering your baby their first developmentally appropriate sensory art experiences! This class is offered to parents/ caregivers and their child(ren) up to 20 months old.
One Hour Sunday Drop In for Kids

Offered on select Sundays from 1-2 PM for up to 1 hour for children ages 3-7 (must be potty trained).
Register your child for an hour of Academy Art Studio time while you enjoy our exhibition. Parents must sign in, stay on-site, and provide a cell phone number so we may contact you during this time.

Storytelling Through The Figure

Inspired by the works of Purvis Young and other figurative artists, you will learn to evoke emotion and tell stories through your artwork while using painting and drawing mediums. This class is open to high school - adult students at all artistic levels.
Expressive Abstracts

Dive into the beauty of abstracts and discover your artistic voice. While learning about dynamics, color theory, and abstract symbolism, you will examine the works of relevant abstract artists such as Purvis Young and create your own incredible works. This workshop is available for high school - adult students at all artistic levels.
