What does the Academy+ Pass Offer?

For an annual rate of $399 per child, the Academy+ Pass offers a range of special benefits and discounts for your child at the Academy at MoCA Westport:

• 20% discount on ALL children’s classes and camps
• ‘Priority Waitlist Upgrade' to be moved to the front of the line on our waiting lists  for classes/ camps that fill up quickly
• A complimentary guest voucher to bring a friend or family member who would like to experience a class at the Academy for the first time

*An Academy+ Pass is valid for one year and must be purchased for each individual child. Please allow 1-2 business days to receive email confirmation of your child’s enrollment. This email will also include your child's personal Academy+ Pass ID -for use during registration to receive 20% off classes and camps.

Fridays from 6:30p-8p for middle school - high school students at all artistic levels.

Looking for a fun and creative way to spend your Friday night? Join us at MoCA for a fun filled paint night where you will spend the evening painting, socializing, and getting creative! This class is available for middle school through high school students. 

Offered on select Sundays from 1-2 PM for up to 1 hour for children ages 3-7 (must be potty trained).

Register your child for an hour of Academy Art Studio time while you enjoy our exhibition. Parents must sign in, stay on-site, and provide a cell phone number so we may contact you during this time.

Offered to toddlers aged 18-24 months and their parent/ caregivers. Spend the morning with your toddler and one of our certified instructors every Tuesday from 9:30a-10:15a and 3:30p-4:15p. 

Introducing young children to art as creators and observers opens the door to self expression and creativity. The act of producing art assists toddlers in developing fine motor skills. Holding a paintbrush so that it will make the desired marks, snipping paper with scissors into definite shapes, drawing with a crayon, or squeezing glue from a bottle in a controlled manner; all help develop a child’s fine motor skills. 

Offered to toddlers aged 18-24 months and their parent/ caregivers. Spend the morning with your toddler and one of our certified instructors every Wednesday from 9:30a-10:15a.

Enjoy art studio time or set up an easel outside, where you can enjoy sketching, painting, or creating a mixed media work of art.

Thursday, April 25th from 6-8 PM

Learn the basics of sculpting a face with Brazilian ceramicist & sculptor, Bianca Barroca. In this two hour workshop, Bianca will guide you with easy steps to creating your own face mask out of clay, with ample opportunity to add your own personal flair & expression. We provide the clay, tools & glaze options, you make your mask, choose your glaze, and pick up your finished creation one week later. This is the ultimate intro class for people that have always wanted to sculpt human form, but didn’t know where to start.

Enjoy Fridays from 9:30a- 10:15 with your baby! Offering your baby their first developmentally appropriate sensory art experiences! This class is offered to parents/ caregivers and their child(ren) up to 20 months old.
